For the BBC and other major broadcasters, as a black Britishman, he is their ‘go-to’ interviewee for his forthright views on diversity, food and farming, and regularly appears on high profile programmes like ITV Good Morning Britain and BBC Question Time.
And he knows well what it’s like on the other side of the camera too! As a producer director for the BBC, he travelled the world making films about food and drink. In fact, he launched the small-screen careers of celebrity chefs including the now internationally famous Gordon Ramsay.
